Senior year, one for the books!

I’ll be the first to admit that senior sessions are not my specialty, but they are a really fun change of pace for me on occasion. I don’t leave a ton of availability in my schedule for high school seniors, so if you enjoy my style and think we would be a good fit to work together, please get in touch! I have a bit of a filmy vibe about my work and I do like to play with grain sometimes & I love black and whites. I work best with clients that allow me creative freedom during our time together. I strive to make senior sessions stress free, enjoyable and fun. I love simplicity and to evoke emotion. So bring your best model face and all the laughter. We will get those traditional “smile at the camera” shots, but I truly love to allow my seniors to let loose. Twirl around in a pretty dress as the sun goes down. Splash around in the water. Incorporate some of their favorite things like footballs, their best art work, their favorite book or their first car. We can go to your sports field, the high school gym, or the county fair. We can drive around town and stop at all the cool little urban spots that no one ever thinks about. Bring a T-shirt, flag or something that showcases the college you’ll be attending, if you have one. We can even schedule you in for a little cap & gown session before you have to hand them back in. The options are endless! But my style is certainly a bit untraditional when it comes to senior photos. And I only work with seniors outdoors during the summer & fall months. The rest of the year I solely work with seniors in my natural light lifestyle studio. Although my studio is available year round. I love to cater each session to the likes and interests of each senior. No two sessions are ever the same, and they shouldn’t be. If you are looking for a unique and untraditional senior photos experience, lets make some art together! It is imperative that you do reach out to me as early as possible, due to my limited availability for working with seniors. I do book out quite far in advance.
